Marisa Ramírez (HOLA Excellence in Television Award) is entering her second season as regular Det. Maria Báez on the CBS cop drama “Blue Bloods”. Other recent TV projects include recurring as Officer Riley Dunn on ABC's “Body of Proof”. In 2011, she starred as Internal Affairs Det. Lina Flores on the Lifetime original series “Against The Wall” as well as creating an international sensation as the sizzling Melitta on the wildly popular Starz series “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena”. “Blue Bloods” is her fifth lead or series regular role on a primetime series. She also starred as Evelyn Santos on ABC's critically acclaimed but short-lived series “Miracles” opposite Skeet Ulrich as well as Dr. Chloe Artis on the Fox 2009 summer series “Mental”. Daytime fans know her well from CBS' “Young and the Restless” as Carmen Mesta, and of course, her award-winning breakthrough role as Gia Campbell on ABC's “General Hospital”.
The 2015 HOLA Awards will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Battery Gardens, in Battery Park at the southernmost tip of Manhattan, in New York City.
