Bochinche refers to "gossip". In this sense, we use it to highlight HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Patrick Michael Valley, shown at right, acted in the SVA thesis film Porte Ouverte (written and directed by Andrew Keyser). The film is screening for the first time tonight (Monday, May 9, 2016) at the SVA Theater in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.

The feature film Millie and the Lords continues hitting the film festival circuit, with its next stop being in June at the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The film, written and directed by Jennica Carmona and stars Jessica Carmona; Cedric Leiba, Jr.; Alfredo Romeo Suárez; Gabriel Castillo; and Mateo Gómez. For more information, click here.
