The 2014-15 Outer Critics Circle Awards, which recognizes achievement in both Broadway and Off-Broadway, announced this season's winners. Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton fared well, with three wins– for Outstanding Book of a Musical (Broadway or Off-Broadway), Outstanding Score of a Musical (Broadway or Off-Broadway), and Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical, respectively. Stephen Adly Guirgis' Pulitzer Prize-winning play Between Riverside and Crazy (which co-starred Lortel Award-winning actress and HOLA member Liza Colón-Zayas), won for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play. The awards for Outstanding New Broadway Play and Outstanding Broadway Musical went to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and An American in Paris, respectively.

The Outer Critics Circle is the organization of writers covering New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway. The Outer Critics Circle nominees are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season. The annual Gala Awards dinner will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the world famous Sardi's Restaurant, located in the Broadway theater district of midtown Manhattan.
