HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. José Bonilla is directing the Eduardo Galán play Historia de 2. The production stars an all-HOLA cast of María Cotto and Raúl Rivera (also see below), shown above, left to right, and will take place in June at the V Festival del Comisionado Dominicano at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.

Kathy Tejada appeared in the short film Rebelde radioactivo (directed by Claudio Jiménez). The film was presented as part of the TEBA/CHAS production of Simón del desierto, itself an adaptation of the Luis Buñuel film by the same name and the Alfred, Lord Tennyson poem "St. Simeon Stylites". Adapted and directed by Emir Cruz, the production took place in May at the Broadway Blackbox Theater (located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood) and also starred Cruz and Raúl Rivera (see above and below), and Piedad Castaño and Kevin Pérez (the latter two also starred in the short film).

Edison Carrera and Raúl Rivera (see above and belowstar in the play Te lo coloco, cobro y me voy (o, El daño que hacen los celos). Written by George Carlo (and adapted by Elías Balladares), it is directed by Cecill Villar and will perform in May at the V Festival del Comisionado Dominicano at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.

In addition, Raúl Rivera (see abovedirected Dinorah Coronado's Ya viene Abuela. The production took place  in May at the V Festival del Comisionado Dominicano at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.

The United Productions presentation of San Salvador después del eclipse was featured in the Héctor Luis Sin Censura blog (written by Héctor Luis Rivera). The Carlos Velis play, directed by Ricardo J. Salazar, will be presented in May at the V Festival del Comisionado Dominicano at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood. The production boasts an-all HOLA member cast in Natalia Ivana EscobarJorge Luis Figueroa, Aileene Pérez and Franco Yáñez.
