HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Indio Meléndez, shown at right, performed his self-penned solo show Someday A Father Be. Directed by Dudley Findlay, Jr., it was presented as part of The ONE Festival, which took place in April and May at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. Gloria Zelaya is directing a workshop presentation of Carlos Jerome's play Dealing the Odds. The presentation will occur on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater (located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan) and features Enmanuel García Villavicencio in the cast.

Pablo Andrade, shown at left, was featured in the industry publication Latin Heat in an article written by Louis Perego Moreno (Tío Louie), regarding The Tablecloth, the short film directed by Youssef Lahlou and in which he stars, which is an official selection of the 2015 Short Film Corner at the world famous Cannes Film Festival (scheduled to take place in May in Cannes, France).
