Bochinche refers to "gossip". In this sense, we use it to highlight HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Manuel A. Morán, shown at right, was featured in the Arte NY blog, where the upcoming Teatro SEA production of the play La muela del rey Farfán/The King Who Refused To Love was highlighted. Written by Serafín Álvarez Quintero and Joaquín Álvarez Quintero and directed by Morán, the award-winning production has a new score by Morán and Iván Alexander Bautista, and will be presented as part of the Arte Pa' Mi Gente/Arts For All Festival, now running through June at La Plaza at The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. The cast will include Francisco Fuertes (who is mentioned in the interview), Indra Palomo, Bill Blechingberg, Shadia Almasri, and Morán, among others. Each performance will an opening act (Milteri Tucker and Bombazo Dance Company will perform on Sunday, June 19, 2016) and cultural artisans and food vendors. Pablo Andrade, shown at left, was featured in the Informe 21 blog, where it highlighted his teaching (with María Fontanals) the first ever Uta Hagen workshop taught in Spanish at world famous HB Studio (founded by Hagen's husband Herbert Berghof). The workshop, titled "Explorando monólogos con la técnica de Uta Hagen", is a rigorous, four-day program taking place in July 2016. Yvette Quintero was mentioned in the Héctor Luis Sin Censura blog (written and edited by Héctor Luis Rivera) during an interview with Alejandro Martínez. Both co-star opposite Kathy Tejada, Fernando Vieira, and Leonel Carrasco in the Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (TEBA) production of 3 veces De Grandy. An evening of three short plays (El probador, Traducción libre, and Abra kadabra) written by award-winning playwright and actress Julie De Grandy, the plays will be directed by Rivera andf will be presented in June at the Broadway Blackbox Theater, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
