HOLA Member Bochinche
Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we
use it to mention HOLA
members or Friends of HOLA
who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or
recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are
listed below in boldface.
Carlos A.
González, shown at left, wrote an article that was published in the debut issue of VNDL magazine (with Latina R&B singing duo Nina Sky on the cover). To read the humorous article, titled "The Fabled, Fallacious & Fabulous Life of Being an Artist", click here and go to pages 7, 158 and 159.
Elaine Del Valle booked a print ad for Flumist. Vanessa Verduga

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, she will be the featured poet for a performance at Bronx Community College in the University Heights section of the Bronx. The following week (Sunday, May 19, 2013), she will be a featured poet for an evening of short film screenings presented by My Final Shot Productions (the evening will include a screening of a film by J.W. On the acting front, she will appear in a production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It (directed by Ron Song Destro), to be presented at CAP21 Studios, located in the Gramercy section of Manhattan.
