

José Roldán, Jr., shown at right, performed his self-penned, award-winning solo show Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (co-directed by Dante Albertie and Rosie Berrido) in August on a cruise line as part of Atlantis Events. Also performing on the cruise (which traveled such European locales as Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Sicily, Naples, Santorini, Bodrum, Mykonos and Athens) was Tony and Grammy Award winner Billy Porter. In addition, Roldán was interviewed for an article in The Advocate magazine which spoke about intersectionality as it relates to the LGBTQ community. To read the article, click here.
Tommy Rivera-Vega, shown at left, is co-starring in the world premiere of Mando Alvarado's Parachute Men. The production by Teatro Vista (of which Rivera-Vega is an Ensemble Member) is directed by Teatro Vista Executive and Artistic Director Ricardo Gutiérrez and will be presented in September and October at the Richard Christiansen Theatre at the Victory Gardens' Biograph Theater in Chicago, Illinois. The play also stars J. Salomé Martínez, Eddie Martínez, Maggie Scrantom, Adam Bitterman, Elisabeth Del Toro; Raphael Díaz, Felipe Jorge, Tracey Green, and Hillary Jiménez.
