Kayros Theater Group and Golden King Productions present Medardo. The play by Julio Ortega, is directed by José Cheo Oliveras, and is scheduled for an April run at the Little Times Square Theater in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. The production stars Ortega, Zulaika Velázquez, Adriana Sananes, Ana Montero, Piedad Castaño, Lissette Montolío and Juan Villarreal in the cast. For more information, click here.
Julio Agustín will be directing a production of Cy Coleman-Dorothy Fields-Neil Simon musical Sweet Charity. Produced by the New Haarlem Arts Theatre, the show will have a July and August run at Aaron Davis Hall in Manhattan's Harlem neighborhood. Gabriela García will serve as choreographer. Teatro SEA is currently presenting Ricitos y los 3 ositos/Ricitos and the 3 Bears. Conceived, produced, written and directed by Manuel A. Morán, the show takes place at SEA's namesake theater, located in the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood and stars Tom Schubert, Paola Poucel, Ángela Pérez and Ana Campos.
