Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Emmanuelle Bordas, shown at right, booked a cable television commercial produced by Emmy Award winner Víctor Arturo Barrientos after she read a casting notice she received in the e-mail announcements HOLA sends out to its members and submitted herself.

Éric-Dominique Pérez booked a role in the feature film The Little Matchstick Boy (directed by Heather Ferreira).

Laura Riveros booked a fashion commercial and its adjoining pictorial for the online fashion and lifestyle magazine Girls Around Town. For more information, click here.

Yolanny Rodríguez will be performing in and directing Los monólogos de la vagina. The Spanish version of Eve Ensler's play The Vagina Monologues, the benefit production is presented by Teatro Las Tablas and will take place on March 24, 2012 at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en los Estados Unidos (in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood) as part of the international V-Day 2012 campaign. The production will benefit the Dominican Woman's Development Center (DWDC) and the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC). For more information, click here. The play had a March run at the Sala Don Iván García Guerra in the Casa de la Cultura Navarrete de los EEUU in the Washington Heights area of Manhattan and starred Rafael Decena, Roberto Larancuent, José Miguel Vásquez, Octavio de la Rosa, Iván Janer, Antonio A. Méndez, Jaime López, Assul Larancuent and Lissette Montolío.
