Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Modesto Lacén was profiled in a bilingual (English/Spanish) article in the January-February 2015 issue of Latin Trends, where his role as Pedro Knight in an as-yet-untitled eighty-episode Fox Telecolombia television series based on the life of Celia Cruz, the Queen of Salsa and Guarachera de Cuba (Knight was her husband and manager) is mentioned. Sebastian Stimman, shown at right, was profiled in the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio, where he talks of his life and career as a New York actor. The interview also highlights his most recent acting award he received for the production Agravios de fortuna (written by William Shakespeare and adapted and directed by A.B. Judy Torres will be performing her hit songs at two special events on Valentine's Day weekend. First up is the Louder Than Love Ball on Friday, February 13, 2015, where she will share the bill with Stevie B, TKA, The Cover Girls, Noel, Soave, The Sugar Hill Gang and Lissette Meléndez. Raúl Rivera is directing the TEBA production of José Adolfo Pichardo's La otra cara de Nadís. Starring Enmanuel García Villavicencio, Ramón Hierro and Yvette Quintero, the show will take place in March at the Broadway Blackbox Theater, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
