Rosie Pérez Named New Co-Host of ABC's "The View" (First Latina Host in Show's History)

Academy Award nominated actress and producer Rosie Pérez will join EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award) winner Whoopi Goldberg, returning host Rosie O'Donnell and new hire Nicolle Wallace (a former communications director for President George W. Bush) as host of ABC's chatfest "The View". Pérez, a previous HOLA Award winner, becomes the first Latina host in the history of the program, which was created by television journalist Barbara Walters.
