HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

2014 HOLA Awards recipient Marco Antonio Rodríguez, shown at right, will be joining the cast of Carmen Rivera's La caída de Rafael Trujillo. Directed by Cándido Tirado, the play will also star José Cheo Oliveras, Eva Cristina Vásquez, Adriana Sananes, Johary Ramos2014 HOLA Award recipient Fermín Suárez, 2014 HOLA Award recipient Iván Camilo, and Ed Trucco. The production will have a run in October and November at Teatro Círculo's namesake space in Manhattan's East Village. For more information, click here or here.

David González can be seen in an on-camera Spanish language commercial for Premier Ford (he also does the voiceover for the commercial as well).

J.F. Seary will act in the play Latin Lives. Written by Robert Louis Maisonett and Lourdes Cuadrado Cabrera, it is directed by Lourdes Sepúlveda and will run in September and October at the Producers' Club Theaters in the theater district of midtown Manhattan.

José Sepúlveda and SepLo Productions are presenting another Sueño Pop concert, where singers sing the songs of Latin pop. While the previous concert was subtitled "Crossover", this concert is called "Pulso Latino". In addition to Sepúlveda, Mauricio Pita and Daniel Anthony Hidalgo (among others) will headline the concert, which will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Tammany Hall, located in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood.
