Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Juan Villarreal, shown at right, is starring in Antonio César Morón's Balanza de los instintos. Directed by Mario Colón, the play also stars Juan Luis Acevedo, Nicole Betancourt, Carmen Cabrera and Yaremis Félix, and will run in September and October in IATI Theater's namesake space, located in Manhattan's East Village. IShowNY Productions and Yajaira Paredes are presenting Gustavo Ott's Passport. Directed by Alfonso Rey, the play will be produced as part of the Venezuelan Art Festival Miami.
