HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

Ismael Cruz Córdova, shown at left with model Robin Schenk, was featured in a spread for the eleventh issue (titled "The Sleek Issue") of the haute couture magazine Lash. Not Carlos Slim Helú, but the reasonable
facsimile of Anthony Ruiz

Anthony Ruiz, shown at right, repeated his role as Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim Helú (also known as "the richest man in the world" with an estimated wealth of $69 billion dollars) on a second episode of "The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS). He appeared in a skit on the episode that aired September 24, 2012 (with special guest Steve Martin). To see him in action, click here and go to 37:30 of the episode.

Rodney Roldán booked an episode of "Mysteries at the Museum" (The Travel Channel).

Claudio Marcel Weisz will soon be seen in El corregidor. Written by Alejandro Casona and adapted and directed by J.J. Franco, the play will be presented in October at the Sala Don Iván García Guerra in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood as part of the III Festival de Teatro Dominicano en Nueva York. The play also stars Juan Villarreal, Héctor Luis Rivera, Ana Montero, Néstor Carrillo, Edward Azcorra and Jaime López in the cast.
