HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

J.W. Cortés, shown at right, was the subject of a profile in Home Reporter News. The profile highlights the Marine and Gulf War veteran's work in the NBC reality competition series "Stars Earn Stripes", as well as his humanitarian work with autism awareness and the Wounded Warrior Project. Andy Pérez booked a role in the film Dreams (directed by David Impelluso).

Repertorio Español is presenting a theatrical adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez's novel El amor en el tiempo del cólera (Love in the Time of Cholera). Adapted by Caridad Svich and directed by José Zayas, the production will premiere in October in Repertorio's namesake theater in Manhattan's Rose Hill neighborhood and stars Luis Carlos de La Lombana, Zulema Clares, Pep Muñoz and Silvia Sierra.

Laura Patalano, Fernando Gamarra, Arturo Castro and Lucía Gómez can be seen in the film Fragile Forms (written, directed and produced by Flavia Casà). The film will be screened on September 27, 2012 by RAW: natural born artists [sic] at M1-5, located in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.
