HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Caridad del Valle, shown at right, booked a commercial (and accompanying print ad campaign) for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCHealth) after reading the casting notice in the e-mail announcements HOLA sends to its members and self-submitting.

Raquel Almazán will have her play La Paloma Prisoner presented in a workshop reading by Hi-ARTS and La Lucha Arts. The play will be directed by Estefanía Fadul, co-star Almazán, Gilbert Cruz, Adriana Sananes, and Mônica Steuer, and take place in May at Hi-ARTS, located at the ArtSpace PS 109 space in Manhattan's El Barrio neighborhood. Inma Herediashown at left, will present a special one-night-only performance of her self-penned solo show Divas de España. Directed by Adolfo Vásquez, the show will take place on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Thalía Hispanic Theatre, located in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens. For more information, click here.

Pablo García Gámez was interviewed by Javier E. Gómez on the latter's talk show "Diálogo abierto" (BronxNet) where the former spoke on the Callback Series 2017 which is being presented in May at Teatro Círculo, located in Manhattan's East Village (García Gámez's own play, Olvidadas, directed by Diego Chiri and starring Rosie Berrido, is represented in the series.
