HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Pablo García Gámez, shown at left, was featured in the Héctor Luis Sin Censura blog (written and edited by Héctor Luis Rivera, also see below), as a result of his two-hander Olvidadasbeing presented in May as part of the Callback Series 2017 by and at Teatro Círculo, located in Manhattan's East Village. Directed by Diego Chiri, the play stars Rosie Berrido and Noëlle Mauri. Mayté Hernández, Aileene Pérez, Raúl Rivera, and Marco Antonio Rodríguez, shown above, clockwise from top left, were mentioned in the Héctor Luis Sin Censura blog (written and edited by Héctor Luis Rivera, shown at right and also see above and below), as a result of their latest projects either in the FuerzaFest or Festival de Teatro Hispano del Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura, happening in May and June in the Julia de Burgos Cultural Center (in Manhattan's El Barrio neighborhood) and Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU (in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood), respectively. The production will be presented in April as part of The One Festival at Teatro Círculo in Manhattan's East Village.
