2016 HOLA Awards recipient Alfonso Rey and Mafer Rodríguez, shown at left, from left to right, were featured in the New York weekly newspaper Impacto Latin News, where their participation in the Monologando Contando Ando solo show and storytelling festival, washighlighted. Rodríguez's show was Atrapen a Minnie (written and directed by Lupe Gehrenbeck); Rey's show was #Popular (written by Marcos Purroy and directed by Rey). (Rey's show wound up winning the festival.)
