Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The Public Theater production of Party People (co-written by and co-starring Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, shown at right, of Universes, and directed by Liesl Tommy) has extended its run at the Public Theater (located in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood) due to popular demand. The show now runs through Sunday, December 11, 2016. For more information, click here.
Paul Mauriello is co-starring in Compliance, a series of shorts that deal with the Black Lives Matter movement written and directed by Brian Michael Smith. The film short is currently filming in New York City.
Judy Torres, shown at left, has a busy October schedule. She will be performing her freestyle dance music hits alongside K7 and TKA at the Putnam County Golf Course in Mahopac, New York on Friday, October 14, 2016. For more information, click here. She will then perform at the Freestyle Extravaganza 2016 concert, which will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at The Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resorts Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The following weekend she will be at the Wild Horse Nightclub in El Paso, Texas on Friday, October 21, 2016 (with Cynthia and Johnny O as co-headliners) and at the legendary Sounds of Brazil (SOB's) in Manhattan's West Village (with co-headliners Cynthia, George Lamond, and Soave).
