Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Joel Pérez, shown at right, is joining the cast of the webseries "The Outs", where he will play Eli. For more information on the webseries, click here or here.
Mario Golden and Andreas Robertz are producing, through their award-winning theater company OneHeart Productions, the Domnica Rădulescu play Exile is My Home. To be directed by Robertz, the play is scheduled for a run in the spring at Theater for the New City in Manhattan's East Village. Casting and performance dates will be announced at a later date.
Vivienne Jurado, shown at left, will be interviewed on the WRMI Radio Miami International program "The Michael Méndez Show" on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, where she will talk of her starring role in the feature film Dirty Shield (directed by Edgar Jimz) and her guest-starring role in an episode of the NBC television series "Shades of Blue". Héctor Luis Rivera is directing the Franklin Domínguez play Lisístrata odia la política. The production will be presented in February by Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (TEBA) at the Broadway Blackbox Theater, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood. For more information, click here.
