Julia Ahumada Grob is an actor, writer, and creative producer of Chilean and Jewish heritage, she is the co-creator and lead actor of "East WillyB". This is an original series which chronicles the adventures of a Brooklyn Sports Bar owner and his motley crew of regulars, as they deal with the trials and tribulations of living in a changing Brooklyn. She is a 2011 Fellow of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) Latino Producers Academy and Latino Artist Mentoring Program. She holds a BA from Brown University and has studied acting with the Labyrinth Theater Company, Steppenwolf Theater Company and at Upright Citizen's Brigade.
Vanessa Verduga is a multi-talented actress, writer and producer. These days, the Los Angeles-born, Bronx-raised performer is currently in post-production for Seasons 2 and 3 of "Justice Woman". The series follows the story of Sofía Escala, a.k.a. Justice Woman, a spunky Assistant D.A. by day, defender of truth and justice by night. With the help of her office-mate and sidekick Robert (Roberta) Gallion (played by Lee Kaplan), she fights to right the wrongs committed against the innocent and powerless by a corrupt legal system - and naturally winds up in some tight spots along the way.
Writer-director-producer-author Linda Nieves-Powell has written and directed many successful theatrical productions (most notably, YO SOY LATINA), short films and the novel, Free Style, published by Simon and Schuster. The webseries she has developed, entitled "Happy Cancer Chick", focuses on women who are currently fighting cancer and choose to find a silver lining in their diagnosis and recovery. These are all real stories told by actresses. In 2013, her company will be developing and producing the film short, Stereotypically, Me, as well as a web talk show focusing on Latinos in entertainment.
