HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

Gustavo Pace, shown at right, won a Brazilian International Press Award in the category of theater for his self-penned solo show Naked Brazilian (directed by Lou Liberatore). To read the announcement (which is in Portuguese), click here.

Liam Torres, shown at left, is acting in Mariquitas. Written by Eduardo Machado and directed by Michael Domitrovich, the play is scheduled for an April and May run in Theater for the New City, located in Manhattan's East Village.

Éric-Dominique Pérez, shown below at right, was highlighted in the
weekly newspaper El Especial, due to the production of his self-penned self show El Gringuito (directed by A.B. Lugo and assistant directed by Billy Martín Mejía). The production is scheduled to play at HERE Arts Center (located in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood) in March as part of the 11th annual Downtown Urban Theater Festival. Alejandro Moscoso, shown at left, was interviewed by Ramón Hierro for the program "La revista semanal" (MundoFox). One can see the interview (which is conducted in Spanish), by clicking on the video below.
