HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Raoul Daniel Luna wrote and stars in the webseries "Still With It." Take a look at a webisode below.

Bill Santiago is set to do a three-evening standup comedy stint at the end of January at Laughs Unlimited in Sacramento, California. For more information, click here. For more information on Santiago (including video of his work), click here.

Lucio Fernández directed the documentary Cubanoson: The Story. The documentary highlights Papo Ortega's Cubanoson, New York's Cuban Orchestra. Produced by MeLu Films in association with Cubanoson Productions and El Gitano Discreto Productions, it can be seen below.

Freia Canals and Denise Kornitz co-wrote and co-star in Alita the Show. The show, also featuring Marcelo Woloski on percussion, is billed as "a bilingual show for the entire family" and will be presented in mid- to late-January as part of the inaugural Times Square International Theater Festival (curated by Roy Arias and Alfred Presser) at the Roy Arias Studios and Theaters, located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. Martín Untrojb's voice can be heard in a voiceover for a national McDonald's commercial.
