Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to
mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are
getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in
the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are

Edison Carrera, shown at right, was honored as "Ecuadorian of the Year" and given a special recognition for his significant contributions to the betterment of the Hispanic community at large. It was presented to him
on Ecuador's Independence Day (Friday, August 9, 2013) by entertainer Lucio Fernández, also shown at right, on behalf of Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners of Union City, New Jersey, of which Fernández is one.
Soraya Padrao booked a TV spot for Wayne Mazda.
Claudio Marcel Weisz will be singing on Sunday, August 11, 2013 with the Raf Astor Band at Havana Central Upper West Side in Manhattan during their brunch service.
