Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Johary Ramos, Natasha Waisfield, Mónica Walter, Juan Carlos Díaz, and Douglas Taurel starred in the production Si Nos Dejan: If They Let Us. An ensemble-devised work inspired by the Clifford Odets play Waiting For Lefty, it was directed by Shana Solomon and presented in June by The Working Theater at the June Havoc Theatre in the Abingdon Theater Arts Complex located in Manhattan's Garment District.
