HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Jenniffer Díaz, shown at right, is among the company of actors in the cast of Mariana Carreño King's Patience, Fortitude and Other Anti-Depressants. Directed by Daniel Jáquez, the play is set for a June run at INTAR Theater (in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood) as part of its NewWorks Lab and featuring the talent of its company of actors (including Oscar Cabrera, Gabe Morales, Diomargy Núñez and Daniela Thome) known collectively as Unit 52. Marcelino Feliciano is in the company of Noël Coward’s play Present Laughter. Directed by David Lee, it is set for a June run at the Two River Theater Company located in Red Bank, New Jersey. For more information, click here.


Kiki Meléndez, shown at left, starred opposite Jane Santos and Ludo Vika in the Ana Báez play Madres y heroínas. Directed by Yulisa Karina, the production took place in June at Teatro Frida Kahlo in Los Angeles, California. Roger González and Julián Juaquín booked an Optimum commercial.


Terracino’s feature film Elliot Loves (which he wrote and directed), will be screened in June at the Dominican Film Festival of New York (DFFNY). The movie starred Robin De Jesús, Elaine Del Valle, Alfredo Narciso, George Ruiz, Dalia Davi, Monte Bezell, Judy Torres, Cedric Leiba, Johnathan Cedano, Bobby DeJesús, Denia Brache and Fabio Costaprado in the cast.
