Alfonso Cuarón wins 2014 Golden Globe for Directing GRAVITY

Filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón.
Director, producer, editor and screenwriter Alfonso Cuarón picked up a 2014 Golden Globe for his work helming the film Gravity. He beat out Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips), Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave), Alexander Payne (Nebraska) and David O. Russell (American Hustle). The award is presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and honors work in film and television. (He previously received the Raúl Juliá HOLA Founders Award in 2004.) Other Latinos nominated this year for Golden Globes included Daniel Brühl, Oscar Isaac, Sofía Vergara, Louis C.K., Helena Bonham Carter and songwriter Robert López. For more information, click here.
