use it to mention HOLA
members or Friends of HOLA
who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or
recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are
listed below in boldface.

Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (TEBA) is presenting Ignacio Sarachaga's Mefistófeles (Parodia). Adapted and directed by Héctor Luis Rivera (see below), the show will have a March run in Teatro Soy (located in Manhattan's Washington Heights area) and will feature Kathy Tejada, Madelin Hierro, Damiana Reyes, Eddy Jiménez, Samuel Ocasio-Mendoza, Yunior A. Ventura, Akera, Emir Cruz and Rivera in the cast.
The Union City Performing Arts Center proudly presents Union City Opera's Amore, a Valentine's Day Celebration on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at
the Union City Performing Arts Center in (natch) Union
City, New Jersey. The concert will feature performances by Jacqueline Thompson, Jessica Renfro, John Jay Hebert, David Maiullo, and a special poetry presentation by actor-poet-journalist Premier Solís, as well as other special guests. Lucio Fernández will

El Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en los Estados Unidos is presenting three productions in March in its theater located in the Manhattan's Washington Heights area. The productions are listed below.
• El deseo de Sofía – Based on a idea by Ernesto De Villa Bejjani and developed by director De Villa Bejjani and actors Elena Mohedano and Richard Trujillo, the play performs the first weekend of March. (Co-production of 88 Performing Arts Theatrical Company.)
• El corregidor – Written by Alejandro Casona and adapted and directed by J.J. Franco, the play stars Juan Villarreal, Héctor Luis Rivera (see above), Claudio Marcel Weisz, Ana Montero, Edward Azcorra and Jaime López and performs the second weekend in March. (Co-production of FénixUSA, Inc.)
• Frágil – Written by César Brie and directed by Billy Martín Mejía, the play stars Mejía, Angie Regina, Miguel Maldonado and Sandy Hernández and performs the third weekend in March. (Co-production of Otro Teatro.)
