The film Under My Nails (written by Kisha Tikina Burgos, directed by Ari Maniel Cruz) won the Best Domestic (U.S.) Feature Film Award from the New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF). The Letras de Ultramar award-winning play by Diógenes Abreu will be directed by Yolanny Rodríguez and star Mateo Gómez and Ana Montero. The production is slated for a December run at Teatro LATEA, located in the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood.
