José Yenque, shown at left, was the subject of a profile in the El Latino San Diego online publication, where he talks of his career and the inspiration his mother, actress Teresa Yenque, has had on him. Mauricio Pita booked his first commercial (for a new beverage owned by Pepsi and marketed for the Latin American market).
Éric-Dominique Pérez will be presenting his self-penned solo show El Gringuito in July at the Broadway Comedy Club (located in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan). The show is directed by A.B. Lugo and assistant directed by Bobby Baker.
Liza Colón-Zayas completed work on the film Won't Back Down (starring Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Holly Hunter, Ving Rhames and Rosie Pérez and directed by Daniel Barnz). She is currently filming Lucky Dog (starring Paul Rudd and Paul Giamatti and directed by Melissa James Gibson).
Modesto Lacén and Celso Bugallo star in the short film Any Kind of Infinite. Written and directed by Roi Fernández, the film will premiere in June at the 2012 Cityvisions Film and Video Showcase, taking place at the DGA Theater on the East Side of Manhattan. For more information, click here.
