HOLA Member Bochinche

* Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting gigs.

Mônica Steuer is a series regular on the web series "Haute and Bothered." You can see her on www.teen.com.

Frank Rodríguez acted in Iván Acosta's play Cosas que encontré en el camino. Produced by Retablo Hispanic Theatre and directed by Mario Colón, it was presented as part of the first Festival of Cuban Theater of One-Act Plays by the Centro Cultural Cubano de Nueva York at the Roy Arias Theater in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. Retablo also produced the one-act play La espera by Gloria Parrado at the same space. Directed by Gabriel Gorcés, the play featured David Ponce and Carlos Alberto Valencia in the cast.

Experimental dance ensemble Jaleo is set to blend flamenco dance with contemporary dance for an evening of audiovisual entertainment. Set to take place at Monkey Town in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, the presentation features Lia Ochoa in the company.

El Teatro Coronado is presenting the world premiere of the play La mañosa, based on the novel of the same name by Juan Bosch. Adapted by Dinorah Coronado and directed by Luis Felipe Rodríguez, the production is to take place at the Comisionado Domincado de Cultura de los Estados Unidos in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan and features María Teresa Silva and Enmanuel García in the cast.
