Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Suni Reyes, shown at right, will be a headliner in The People's Improv Theater (The P.I.T.) series appropriately titled The P.I.T. Presents. She will be performing her standup comedy in May at The P.I.T.'s namesake theater located in Manhattan's Rose Hill neighborhood. For more information about the gig, click here.
Alexandra Manzano is co-starring in the short film Fortress of Dumbbells (written and directed by Dennis Maragliano), which is currently filming in New York City. The film also stars Jennifer Quinn and Maragliano.
José Yenque, shown at left, is in pre-production for the feature film A Life Lived. Written by Kevin Brown and Riley Wood, and directed by Wood, the film also stars Lili Bordán and Douglas Tait and has an expected release date for sometime in 2016.
Víctor Cruz is co-starring opposite Mary-Louis Parker, Ashley Benson, Josh Peck and Chris Noth in the feature film Chronically Metropolitan. Written by Nicholas Schutt and directed by Xavier Manrique, the film is currently in post-production and is scheduled for release sometime in 2016.
