HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Andrea Navedo was profiled in Miami Living Magazine, where she was interviewed about her life and career, most specifically about her award-nominated role as Xiomara Villanueva in the critically acclaimed, hit television series "Jane The Virgin" (The CW). Joel Luna is directing the music video for the song "Me la llevé" performed by hip hop en español artist Nove.

Luis Salgado and Gabriela García will be performing at the Broadway Meets Wall Street event. An event co-produced by R.Evolución Latina and the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (Northeast Chapter), the part-performance, part-workshop, part-performance will take place on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Taj, located in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. Jay Álvarez is continuing the run of his self-written, award-winning solo show Be Careful! The Sharks Will Eat You! Directed by Theresa Gambacorta, the show will have additional performances in July at the Stage Left Studio, located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. For more information, click here.

Carlo Lorenzo García acted in the film short Anthropology Anthology 1: Pilgrim (the first in an anthology series by Soft Cage Films of film shorts written by Heather Mingo and John Sutton and directed by David A. Holcombe).
