HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Edna Lee Figueroa
Edmi De Jesús, and Jerry Soto (an all-HOLA member cast) are starring in Txemi Parra's play La terapia. Directed by Gerardo Gudiño, the play also stars Noëlle Mauri and Mario Mattei (at select performances) and will be presented as part of the second season of Teatro SEA's Micro Teatro New York festival, which will run February through April at Teatro SEA's namesake theater in The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. Claudio Weisz and Javier Figuera are starring in the Corezón production of Julio Ramón Ribeyro's El uso de la palabra. Directed by Diego Chiri and produced by Pablo Andrade, the play will be presented as part of the second season of Teatro SEA's Micro Teatro New York festival, which will run February through April at Teatro SEA's namesake theater in The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. Angie Regina, shown, in character with Pedro Animal, at right, stars in the solo show Pedro Animal Falls in Love/Pedro Animal se enamora. Written and directed by Manuel A. Morán (also see below), the play is based on Dominican and Puerto Rican folktales and will be presented on Saturday, February 25, 2017 as part of the Teatro SEA's Micro Teatro For Young Audiences festival at Teatro SEA's namesake theater in The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. Indra Palomo and Samuel Garnica are co-starring in The Dropouts Crew. Written by Radamés Vega Gutiérrez, this musical production is a bilingual (English/Spanish) version 
Manuel A. Morán (also see above and below) and Richard Marino from a translation by Dalgis Fonseca Acosta, with new staging, choreography and additional text and lyrics by Danny Javier Rivera. Directed and produced by Morán, the production will premiere in February at Teatro SEA's namesake theater in The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. Society of the Educational Arts (Teatro SEA) is presenting, by popular demand, A 3 voces. The musical revue, which spotlights the music of romantic songs performed by musical trios, is produced and directed by 
Manuel A. Morán (also see above), and stars Ana Campos, Iván Alexander Bautista (who also serves at the musical director of the production), Morán and Edwin Vázquez. The production will be presented in February at Teatro SEA's namesake theater in The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood.
