Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Verónica Valencia, shown at right, is starring opposite Richard Montoya in the film The Other Barrio. Written by Dante Betteo and Montoya (based on a story by Alejandro Murguía), and directed by Betteo, the film will be screened on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Highland Theater in Los Angeles, California. Liza Colón-Zayas is starring in the world premiere of Nick Gandiello's play The Blameless. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, the production will be presented in February and March at the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre/Conrad Prebys Theatre Center in The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California.
