HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

José Roldán, Jr., shown at right, will be performing his award-winning, self-penned solo show Father Forgive Me For I Have Sinned (directed by Rosie Berrido) in March at the Nuyorican Poets' Café in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood. For more information, click here or here.

Andrea Navedo, shown at left, is the subject of an online question-and-answer session from Quora (where most likely she will answer questions of her award-winning performance as Xiomara Villanueva in The CW's critically-acclaimed, award-winning hit television series "Jane The Virgin". Pablo Andrade, shown at right, and Yessi Hernández were featured in the Venezuelan newspaper El Universal where it publicized their selection as the face of the MiCrush app (a romance love made by and for Latinos). As the spokespeople, there are releasing viral videos produced by Corezón Productions and sponsored by MiCrush. Their first viral video (which is in Spanish), released for Valentine's Day, can be seen here. To read the article in El Universal (which is in Spanish), click here.

Louis Perego Moreno (also known as Tío Louie) was interviewed by Javier E. Gómez on the latter's talk show "Diálogo abierto" (BronxNet), where the former spoke on diversity in the arts and media. To see the interview, which is in Spanish, click on the image below (the interview starts at about 05:30 of the video). [Prime Latino Media and HOLA receive mentions during the latter half of the interview (at 19:20 and 26:20 of the video, respectively).]
