Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie hosted the 62nd Annual Drama Desk Awards on Sunday, June 4, 2016 at The Town Hall in New York City. The Drama Desk Awards, which are presented annually, honor outstanding achievement by professional theater artists on Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway.Rubén Santiago-Hudson, shown above right, picked up a Drama Desk for directing the Manhattan Theatre Club production of August Wilson's Jitney on Broadway. (The production also won the award for Outstanding Revival of a Play.)
