HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Billy Martin Mejía, shown at right, is co-starring in the film El fantasma de mi novia (written and directed by Francis Disla "El Indio"). The film is currently in production.

Due to the success of his European cruise tour, José Roldán, Jr. will be presenting his award-winning, self-penned solo show Father Forgive Me For I Have Sinned (developed with and directed by Dante Albertie) in January on a Caribbean tour from Atlantis Events on the ship Allure on the Seas (leaving Fort Lauderdale, Florida with stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico; and Labadee, Haiti). 

A.B. Lugo and Omar Pérez are co-starring in The Red Play. Written and directed by Julián Mesri, the Sans Comedia production will be presented in February as part of Sanctuary, a pop-up venue at HERE Arts Center in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood. For more information, click here.
