HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Suni Reyes, shown at right, was featured in the Hello Giggles blog as one of four Latinx comedians to watch. To read the blog, click here.

Marco Antonio Rodríguez's award-winning play, Barceló con hielo/Barceló on the Rocks is available for digital download via Kindle with the Spanish and English versions in the same edition. For more information (and to buy your copy), click here.

2016 HOLA Awards recipient Pablo García Gámez's award-winning play Noche tan linda will be presented in Argentina. The production will be directed by Romina Oslé and take place in September at the DelBorde Espacio Teatral, located in the San Telmo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal. Vladimir Ríos and photographer Lester Blum have collaborated on two photo series: Warrior of Hope and I Still Remember, respectively. Both are narratives with photos taken by Blum featuring Ríos (who also served as artistic director) as the main or lead character. Both photo series have been published as photo books and are hitting the art gallery circuit, with both Warrior of Hope and I Still Remember being exhibited through Friday, October 21, 2016 at the SAGE Center Midtown located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.
