Gabriela Natale, "SuperLatina with Gaby Natale", "Cafe CNN" Win 2016 Daytime Emmys, Sonia Manzano Receives Lifetime Achievement Honor


The 43th annual edition of the Daytime Emmy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), were announced on Sunday, May 1, 2016 (with recipients for the Creative Arts Emmys on Friday, April 29, 2016). The Daytime Emmy Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2am to 6pm during the 2015 calendar year.

Gabriela Natale, above right, picked up two 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards– for Outstanding Daytime Talent in a Spanish Language Program and Outstanding Entertainment Program in Spanish– for her program 
"SuperLatina with Gaby Natale" (SuperLatina + AGANARmedia + V-me). "Café CNN" picked up the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish.

Sonia Manzano
above left, also known as María on the long-running PBS series "Sesame Street", received the Emmy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Manzano, a former HOLA Award honoree, retired after almost 45 years of being on the show last summer; during her tenure on the program she had shared in 15 Emmys for her work as a writer on the groundbreaking public television show. She was also nominated twice for Daytime Emmys in the category of Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series.

The reason I liked here is that this place is so intimate and personable and while having astounding atmosphere! San Francisco venues are really more suited and perfect for experiencing great food and having a good time.
