HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Patrick Michael Valley, shown at right, is in the cast of a musical adaptation of the Homerian epic The Odyssey. With book, music, and lyrics by Todd Almond, it is directed by Lear deBessonet and will perform in September at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park as part of the Public Theater's Public Works program. The feature film The Hardest Love (written and directed by Henry B. Roa) continues its award-winning journey on the film festival circuit. Its next stop is the monthly international online event known as the Los Angeles CineFest in Los Angeles, California. The feature film stars Francisco Ramos, Paola Tonini and Jason Torres. Suni Reyes, shown at left, will be a special guest at Menagerie à Trois, the new show by improv group Shadowbox (formerly known as SSSS). The performance will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at The People's Improv Theater (The P.I.T.), located in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. For more information, click here.

Víctor Cruz will be performing his standup comedy on a bill with Angelo Lozada, Sara Contreras, Dustin Chafin and Tommy Peña as part of an evening titled "Latino Laughter". It will take place on the evening of Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Broadway Comedy Club, located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan.
