Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Vanessa Verduga, shown at right, was featured in Latin Heat, where her award-winning webseries "Justice Woman" (of which she takes on the roles of creator, writer, director, producer, and star) is profiled. In addition, she will be making personal appearances in July at the San Diego Comic Convention in San Diego, California, just as the Season 3 finale of "Justice Woman" is about to premiere. The Francisco Lupini Basagoiti short film Tú. Yo. Baño. Sexo. Ahora. (starring Francisco Fuertes and Mauricio Pita) continues its journey on the film festival circuit, with a stop at the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (NCLGFF), scheduled to take place in August at Durham, North Carolina. Caridad del Valle booked a featured role in the upcoming "Untitled Rock 'N' Roll Project" from HBO. The series, which is set in 1970s New York at the height of punk and disco music, stars Bobby Cannavale and Ray Romano and is directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Mick Jagger, Scorsese and Terence Winter.
