HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. José Sepúlveda, shown at right, is acting in the feature film Wig'd Out. Written by Claire Wilcher and Kate Chaplin, from a story by Sandy Rusk and Olivia Rusk, the film is currently shooting in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Emilio Delgado and writer Craig Shemin will be introducing the 30th anniversary screening of the feature film Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird (written by Tony Geiss and Judy Freudberg, and directed by Ken Kwapis). The screening will take place on Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2015 at the Museum of the Moving Image, located in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens. For more information, click here.

Judy Torres, shown at left, will be singing her hits in several locations over the next week. She will be at Alejandra's in Northlake, Illinois on Saturday, July 18, 2015Chris Michaels' Steakhouse in  Woodbridge, New Jersey on Friday, July 24, 2015; and Resort World Casino in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens in New York City on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Mônica Steuer and Francisco Huergo co-star in the film Cassanova Was A Woman (written by Jezabel Montero and directed by Kevin Arbouet), which is currently hitting the film festival circuit. Its latest stop will be in August in Oakland, California as an official selection of the Voiceless International Film Festival. The film also stars Montero, Margo Singaliese and Paolo Andino.
