HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Héctor Luis Rivera (also see below), and his blog Héctor Luis Sin Censura, presented a guest blog from Raúl Rivera (also see below) on the fashions of the Asociación de Cronistas de Espectáculos de Nueva York Awards, which took place this past March. Featured in the blog are HOLA members Caridad del Valle, Enmanuel García Villavicencio, Carlos Navedo, Sebastian Stimman and Teresa Yenque. To read the blog, which is in Spanish, click here. [Counterclockwise from top right: Stimman, Yenque, Navedo, del Valle, García Villavicencio.]

Raúl Rivera (also see above) directed a production of Dinorah Coronado's Ya viene Abuela for Teatro Coronado. The production took place in July at Ranchete's Social Hall in Paterson, New Jersey.

Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (and its producer, Héctor Luis Rivera, also see above) and Teatro Fragal (and its producer, Franco Galecio) are presenting the play El consultorio del Dr. Locardio. Written by José Vicente and adapted and directed by Galecio, the production will take place in September at the Broadway Blackbox Theater in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan.
