HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Tony Plana, Gilbert Cruz and Thom Rivera, shown clockwise from top left, were highlighted in an article in Broadway World for the upcoming Shakespeare Theater Company revival of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Jenny Lord, scheduled to run at the theater's Sidney Harman Hall in August and September as part of its annual Free-For-All program. To read the article on the production and the cast, respectively, click here and here. Cruz was cast after the theater company held general auditions exclusively for HOLA members after the theater company collaborated with HOLA regarding more diversity inclusion at the Tony Award-winning theater, located in Washington, District of Columbia.
