HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip". In this sense, we use it to highlight HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Nicolet Lisotto, shown at right, booked a promo for Neutrogena after the casting director found her profile on the online HOLA directory of talent and called her in to audition.

Indio Meléndez will be performing his self-penned solo show Someday A Father Be as part of the Harlem Arts Festival 2016. Directed by Dudley Findlay, Jr., the play will perform as part of the opening night ceremonies on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the National Black Theater in Manhattan, whereupon it will have additional performances at the Harlem Village Academies. Andrea Navedo
was interviewed by Erik Rivera on his podcast "Not For Nothing". To listen to it, click here.

Maite Uzal and Alfonso Rey, shown above, left to right, were featured in the Héctor Luis Sin Censura blog (edited by Héctor Luis Rivera) as a result of their participation in the Indira Páez play Ni tan divas ni tan muertas. The play stars Uzal and is directed by Rey and will be presented by Proscenio in June as part of the VI Festival de Teatro Latino del Comisionado at the Sala Rafael Villalona at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
