HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip". In this sense, we use it to highlight HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Erick Betancourt, shown at right, was featured in Broadway World, where his role as Prince Escalus in the Trinity Repertory Company production of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (adapted by Saúl Ramos and directed by Tyler Dobrowsky), was highlighted. The free, bilingual (English/Spanish), family-friendly production will take place in July and will tour various locations in Providence, Rhode Island. Alfonso Rey is directing the Indira Páez play Ni tan divas ni tan muertas. The play stars Maite Uzal and will be presented by Proscenio in June as part of the VI Festival de Teatro Latino del Comisionado at the Sala Rafael Villalona at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood. 


Olga Meredizshown at leftis currently filming The Light of the Moon (written and directed by Jessica M. Thompson and starring Stephanie Beatriz).

Ana Roshelle DíazDaniel Anthony Hidalgo, Julio Ortega, and Zahydé Pietri are co-starring in La entrevista. Written by Antonio A. Méndez, the Teatro Las Tablas production is directed by Yolanny Rodríguez, and will be presented in June as part of the VI Festival de Teatro Latino del Comisionado at the Sala Rafael Villalona at El Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura en EEUU, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
