Masters of Ceremonies of the 2012 HOLA Awards

ODALYS MOLINA and JORGE RAMOS are the Masters of Ceremonies of the 2012 HOLA Awards.

Odalys Molina serves as a general assignment reporter for WNJU Telemundo 47, appearing as a co-host of the entertainment show "Acceso Total" and contributing special reports for other various programs of Telemundo. A native of Cuba, she joined Telemundo 47 in 1991 as an intern. The training she received during the internship led to her being hired as an assignment reporter where she covered major events and breaking news. She later became a correspondent for the news and entertainment department, developing her own segments on celebrities and entertainment. In 2000, Molina received an official proclamation from the city of New York from Governor George E. Pataki for her coverage of the issues that affect the Hispanic community of the Tri-State Area. She was nominated three times for an Emmy and has won four ACE Awards (Association of Latin Entertainment) as best host of an entertainment program. She has also been the "godmother" of several parades, such as the Hispanic Heritage parade in New York and the Cuban Parade of New York. She is an expert in the area of entertainment and has served as master of ceremonies for several editions of the prestigious HOLA Awards. She won the 2008 HOLA Award for Excellence in Media Award, and has been honored by the Cuban Day Parade of New York and the Hispanic Day Parade of New York to name a few. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from Montclair University in New Jersey and resides in New Jersey with her husband and children.

Jorge Ramos is an Emmy award-winning anchor and correspondent and the co-anchor of WNJU’s "Noticiero 47” at 6pm and 11pm. In addition to anchoring, he delivers high-profile reports on numerous topics for “Noticiero 47,” including his ongoing series “Crímenes sin resolver.” In 2003, the New York City Police Foundation honored Ramos for his help in solving cold cases and for promoting the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program. He has also hosted numerous special news programs for WNJU, including the station's coverage of the Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican and Hispanic Day parades of New York and New Jersey, and he has been honored as the International Godfather and Honorary Guest for many of those parades throughout the years. He joined WNJU in 1980 and was one of the founding members of the station’s news operation, becoming the news anchor a year later. Most recently, he served as master of ceremonies for the HOLA Awards. Among his many awards are several New York Emmys, five ACE Awards for “Best Male Anchor” and a 2006 HOLA Award for Excellence in Media Award.  A native of Puerto Rico, he graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Humanities degree. He is married and has two children.
