HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Éric-Dominique Pérez, shown at right, was recently featured in Remezcla. The occasion was the presentation of his self-penned solo show El Gringuito. Directed by A.B. Lugo and assistant directed by Billy Martin Mejía, the show was presented in Ellsworth Park as part of the 11th annual Union City Theater Festival in the Park in (natch) Union City, New Jersey. Juan Villarreal booked a role on an episode of "Mortales" (Telemicro).

Héctor Luis Rivera is adapting and directing a Caribbean-themed adaptation of John Millington Synge's The Playboy of the Western World. Titled El farsante de la costa oeste, it stars Amado Marte, Anyeli Maya Rodríguez, Raúl Rivera, Altagracia Frías, Harry Gil, Serxh Velázquez, Zulema Santos Ewens and Enmanuel García Villavicencio in the cast and is set to run in July at Teatro Soy, located in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.

Teresa Yenque was interviewed by Tony Rodríguez on the MundoFox program "La revista semanal", where they spoke of her long career in show business. For more information, click on the video below.
